Year 2022 will be a very memorable year for me personally, but I wanted to end the year strong, just as I started it strong – and I needed a whole lot of God’s grace for that! In fact, it is ALL by God’s grace that I can boast and say even when I am weak, I know I am strong! God is with me!
My mom passed away April this year, and during Mother’s Day in May, I together with some of our young people were blessed to have given a task at our church to write an original song to present. This is when ‘You Never Let Me Go’ was born.
Inspired by the life of Moses, but even more so in the life of his mother, Jochebed. This song is inspired by the love and dedication of a mother (parents) towards their children, but all the more so the love and dedication of our Abba Father towards us, His children.
