R – Right Heart / Right Motive
A lifestyle of having the right heart and right motive.
The very fruit of genuine worshippers of God is the outflowing of their hearts. Their actions, the way they speak, their response to every situation.
God is a loving God, but He is also a just God. He loves us without any reservations, and it even easily delighted by the smallest things we do for Him; however, He is not pleased when we do things out of a prideful, wicked heart.
We can do the most sacrificial, most challenging, most painful actions for God, and the people around us would be amazed and inspired, but the bottom line is, God sees our hearts – the very thing God will always consider first (Jeremiah 17:10)
Always guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. (Proverbs 4:23)
Examine yourself daily, asking God to sanctify you completely, so that the love that is overflowing through you is the same love that God has made you experience when He first caught your heart. To God be all the glory, honour, praise and adoration.
