S – Set Apart
A lifestyle of being set apart
DO NOT CONFORM to the ways and afflictions of this world; instead, let your life be transformed by renewing and aligning your mind to God’s good, pleasing and perfect will for you. (Romans 12:2)
There is no place for compromise in the path of the Godly. Again, we please God by what we do and not only by what we believe. We cannot be called worshippers of God if we give our all to God on Sundays only. We are called worshippers of God because we give our all to God. Period.
The one and best way for us to practice a life of being set apart from this world is by delighting in the Law of the Lord (Bible), meditating on it day and night. That way, we can identify the difference and consequences of living in the path of the Godly and living in the path of the wicked – which is by the way like day and night. (Psalms 1)
