Why do we have to study?
To learn, to graduate, to blend in with society. Through studying, we are developing our character. Character is applied to us all the time, anywhere.
To live life successfully, we have to study life diligently.
Life is a learning, step-by-step process. Just like our lives, we have to dedicate our studies to God. We have to study to glorify God.
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. — 1 Timothy 4:12
You can be an influence in class. You can be an instrument of God to influence people in class.
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. — 2 Timothy 2:15
We need to study with diligence. Life is a test and at the end of life, we will all be graded by God.
Knowledge is meant to be shared. We can’t efficiently share what we are not sure of.
How Do We Study the Word of God?
- Quiet Times
- The Holy Bible
- Quality is better than quantity. Sometimes, even just 5 verses or 1 chapter a day is more credible than a lot more readings — if those 5 verses have impressed to you what you really are needing.
- We have to memorize our Bible verses. Study.
